Chi Kung for children

IMG_4189Chi Kung helps children to have a deeper connection with their body, improving balance and coordination, and also an improved awareness of their energy and their emotions.
Chi Kung for children includes gentle easy movements which originate from imitating animals and connecting with nature.  They will play and explore their bodies through movements and visualizations.
In a busy world Chi Kung can provide an early connection to stillness and calm which children need to create balance in their nervous system. This helps provide emotional stability and can help improve concentration.
Through learning, inter-reacting and moving in a group they will improve their body awareness, internally and externally in relationship to others.
Slowing down and exploring different ways of breathing for different situations, they will learn practical ways to calm down when they need to in everyday life.
